View the latest post 1999 2800 Martinique potential purchase


Hi all,

I will be looking at a 1999 Martinique with twin Volvo 4.3's and XS drives. 570 hours. Is there anything specific to this model I should be looking for? I am an experienced boater, mostly with larger inboard vessels. So I know my way around boats, just know nothing about this particular model or the Volvo engine/drives. Boat will be on lake Erie.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy,

I am trying to purchase a 1997 Welllcraft 240 Coastal Boat in Fairfield,
TX on Facebook Marketplace.

Can a New small Kicker outboard engine be added to this 1997 Wellcraft 240 Coastal with Mercurity 225HP?
I do not want to buy the boat unless I can Buy a Second Small Outboard Motor that will fit on the Transom or the back of the boat.
Does anyone have a Wellcraft 240 Coastal with a kicker second outboard engine? If so can you please supply the motor details and where the kicker engine is mounted on your boat?

I found set of wires connected to the battery. This must be draining the battery. It not the bilge auto switch. But it's coming from the bow under starboard side compartment. Any ideas what this is?
